Frederic Lynker received the B.Eng. degree in Electronic Systems from the Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin in 2014 and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Technische Universität Berlin in 2018. He worked as a student trainee at Siemens AG from 2010 to 2013 in the department of industry automation and drive technologies. In early 2014 he joined the global research department of the TAKATA AG as a student trainee developing electronics and software for seat belt integrated heart rate measurement by means of ballistocardiography. In 2016 he joined Fraunhofer FOKUS as a student trainee for research in the area of IoT and M2M. After completion of his masters thesis in space technology, he pursued research at Fraunhofer, nowadays focusing on IIoT and industrial networks.
